Green Canyon Pangandaran (Indonesia)

Green Canyon resort is located in the Village Kertayasa, Ciamis, West Java, approximately 31 km from Pangandaran. The name was introduced by Green Canyon tourists from France. Color greenish river water may be the reason this place called Green Canyon. While the previous name, means Cukang Taneuh land bridge because of the bridge with wide and 3 meters to 40 meters long that connects the village with the Village Batukaras Kertayasa.
Cijulang River
The
aim is tunnel-like cave under the land bridge known as the Green Canyon
Cave. To reach the cave, you must follow the river using a boat
Cijulang called ketinting. This boat can only boarded by passengers 5.
Rents boats or ketinting is Rp 75.000, - per boat. The time it takes to
make the trip that started from the pier to the caves Ciseureuh
approximately 30 minutes.
On the side of the river you can enjoy Cijulang cliffs overgrown hillside of lush green trees and rocks that decorate. The journey will not be boring because of the beautiful scenery and enjoy the casual stream. Naik ketinting can also create unique, especially for kids who loved the water.

Sigurdsristning
is a extraordinary place with a lot of history. You can see
Sigurdsristning on the side of a quiet road, at somewhere in between
trees. A little sign tells you where Sigurdsristning is. When you climb
up the rock you can see this: A huge rock with carved pictures
surrounded by runic epigraphies. Then what you feel is history, and
lots of it. I find Sigurdsristning an amazing place. It feels so
special to be here, and there is a story of a distinguished Viking
family, by creating these carvings in these rocks.

family, by creating these carvings in these rocks. Sigurdsristning is an important historic place, but it is still unprotected. And maybe that makes Sigurdsristning even more extraordinary. I always feel quiet when I am here, and I do not know why. The carvings are only a 6 minutes walk from my home. I do not go Sigurdsristning often though. Maybe That is because I want to keep Sigurdsristning ‘special’ is a place to visit so now and have that nice feeling to connect with the history.
