The

My
wife has been to the Grand Canyon but I have not seen it yet. From what
she and others have said, it an inspiring place to take in its beauty,
and brought to tears from a spiritual awakening. I am not someone who
is easily brought to be impressed, even from the greatest of movies,
but the experience some have had when visiting the Grand Canyon be it.
Great
Barrier Reef in Australia is one of places that I must see. It said to
be the world’s biggest single structure made by living organisms and
visible from outer space. It is verycool, isn't it? Seeing video and
pictures of the barrier reef on television makes the reef a must see
before I die. The Great Barrier Reef covers 135.000 square miles
(350.000 square kilometers), an expanse greater than Poland.
The

Cave. To reach the cave, you must follow the river using a boat

Sigurdsristning
is a extraordinary place with a lot of history. You can see
Sigurdsristning on the side of a quiet road, at somewhere in between
trees. A little sign tells you where Sigurdsristning is. When you climb
up the rock you can see this: A huge rock with carved pictures
surrounded by runic epigraphies. Then what you feel is history, and
lots of it. I find Sigurdsristning an amazing place. It feels so
special to be here, and there is a story of a distinguished Viking
family, by creating these carvings in these rocks. Sigurdsristning is an important historic place, but it is still unprotected. And maybe that makes Sigurdsristning even more extraordinary. I always feel quiet when I am here, and I do not know why. The carvings are only a 6 minutes walk from my home. I do not go Sigurdsristning often though. Maybe That is because I want to keep Sigurdsristning ‘special’ is a place to visit so now and have that nice feeling to connect with the history.

My
home Coogee has quite a long history (for a Sydney border). The
original track which brought people to Coogee Beach area back in 1842
would have followed the basic route now taken by Alison Road &
Anzac Parade. Still today, the feeling that you get when you are in Coogee is a seaside village. It’s a nice place to swim, eat, walk & picnic. You can roam the beautiful coastal walks - both south & north of the beach, the parklands with picnic facilities and outdoor barbeque, the 3 swimming pools, the children’s play areas, or just relax on one of the greatest sand beaches in Sydney.
The water is commonly sparkling clean, besides for the odd day when seaweed is washed up onto the beach. The beach is commonly quite “flat” by Sydney standards, but there are some days when it can be rough so it is wise to stay at least on those days within the flags.
The northern point of Coogee is now mentioned “Dolphins Point” and that is the site of a memorial to the 20 local residents and other Australians who died in the tragic terrorist bombing in Bali in October 2002.
